Star Trek Online is a free massively online multiplayer game that allows the gamer to become a caption of a starship. A player can choose to immerse himself or herself in the Star Trek universe and be a member of the noble Starfleet academy; or for those who've always admired the proud warrior-like race of the Klingons can command their own Bird of Prey.
Players will be able to embark on missions, explore new planets, find new alien races, and form new alliances. The unique thing about this game is that each mission is played in episodes, so the player feels as though they are tuning in to a new episode of their favorite show where they get to be the star.
